Ojibwe in minnesota
The Ojibwe were told by spirits that they were supposed to travel what is now Minnesota and make seven stops along the way.
They got ready to travel and left for Minnesota.
They split into 3 groups along the way, Potawatomi, Ottawa, and Ojibwe. Ottawa settled mostly eastern the great lakes, Potawatomi headed south into what is now Wisconsin, and the Ojibwe continued west.
The Ojibwe lived near where Lake Superior flows into Lake Huron, which was their 5th stop.
They made lodges close to the water there.
